2013 Derby Du Veneon (DDB) Sept 13,14 and 15th

The second edition of the Derby Du Veneon (DDB) will take place on Sept 13,14 and 15th. Located near Grenoble France the Veneon valley is simply one of the most beautiful in France, and hides incredible whitewater for all levels. That’s right there are 4 sections to be paddled from Class 2/3 to 5+, and everything in between.

In the program this year:

> Friday September 13th – Mandatory Training for ALL competitors. (everyone competing must paddle the race section before the race)

> Saturday September 14th – a 6km team race (3 paddlers per team) on a Class4/5 section between Pierre Noire and Champhorent.

Morning: qualifiers round, Afternoon: finals. Evening: outside party with DJ « PUSHdaVOLUME »

> Sunday September 15th – a whitewater rescue clinic/symposium where paddlers are welcome to come and share their experience and learn from others.

For people coming along that are not competing… if you are paddling there are a few easier section, including the rafting section (class2/3), for those that are not paddling, biking and hiking around la Bérarde is outstanding.

The DDB is simply the best cure for those that back at work or at school and that want an extra few days of holidays in a magical place.
