2013 – North Fork Championship II

We are very pleased at Kayak Session Mag to be aboard the The North Fork Championship II. This event was created by James Byrd, to bring the best kayakers together to race on some of the world’s most difficult whitewater, the North Fork Payette. This very special river humbles even the most talented in our sport, however last year the NFC was a testament of where kayaking is today.

The talent of the competitors and the intensity of the river make the NFC the pinnacle of Whitewater kayak racing. Last year the passion for the sport of kayaking was made apparent with intense levels of competition, but even higher levels of camaraderie. We are excited to continue on that momentum!

As we gear up for NFC II, and paddlers from across the world make their travel plans to come to Boise, Idaho, the stoke level only increases!

Rumours this year says that they could be a boatercross and a freestyle event!!! stand by for more info soon on these…
