4th XXL-Paddelfestival 2016 – Kanupark Markkleeberg, Germany

The 4th 2016 edition of the XXL-Paddelfestival 2016 took place last week (May 7&8th) at the Kanupark Markkleeberg, near Leipzig in Germany.

Approximatively 800 paddlers and 27 exhibitors gathered on the banks of the Kanupark Markkleeberg for what is now the traditional start of the whitewater season in Germany. The whitewater park offers a unique combination: city paddling in Leipzig, lake touring on the lake next to the park and whitewater paddling on two artificial courses.

The XXL-Paddelfestival offers demo, test, expo, workshops, seminars, lectures, movie night, boater-cross, junior-trophy and much more. It is managed by the PADDLEexpo organizers; as a direct consequence, all the the new products and concepts introduced to the paddling industry trade professionals at PADDLEexpo in the fall, are presented to the public in the spring at this occasion.

The 2017 edition will take place in May 2017.
