Brokeback Gorge, NY
3 Pennsylvania boaters, (Matt Pinciotti, Brent Fanelli, and Tony Morrell), made the trip to Lowville, NY, to attempt to run the elusive Brokeback Gorge. We met with Tony Gianfagna, a local boater who was gracious enough to take us down this run. This is a full committing run, and probably my favorite creek to date. To those familiar with PA creeking, this is very similar to a Delaware Water Gap run, a steep, low volume creek with spectacular scenery in a deep gorge.
