Every year Shane Benedict from Liquidlogic Kayaks covers the Green Race for Kayak Session Magazine. This year just like every other it seems a hurricane has come through the area and the river is HIGH! Training has been difficult but lots of paddlers are firing up Gorilla at super high water and some are having better lines than others.

You will see in this episode Dane Jackson, Evan Garcia, Jason Hale, Alec Voorhees, Geof Calhoun and few others sweet (and not so sweet) lines through Gorilla… and off course some carnage runs commented by the world’s best carnage MC, Shane « looking good » Benedict!

This year because of Corona Virus the Green Race organizers are bringing the race to you via live stream. In preparation for this Saturday, they held a practice “race” during the high water to set up all their systems for the Livestream from deep down in the gorge and a handful of racers decided they wanted to go for it.

Shane Also talks to Jason Hale and Organizer John Grace about this years’ special feel at the race and the Live Steam that will be put together for the world to see the race live on Saturday!
