Inside the 2021 Green Race #2 – The Sights and Sounds of Green Race Week, Part1.

Every year whitewater legend and Green Race local, Shane Benedict from Liquidlogic Kayaks covers the Green Race for us at Kayak Session Magazine.

Shane has been down in the Green River Gorge taking in the sights and sounds of all the racers getting ready for the 26th Annual Green River Narrows Race. Through the week leading up he chatted with racers, spectators, new paddlers to the Green River, and of course videoed all of it. There is a special kind of energy and excitement in the week leading up to the race and you can hear it in their voices and see it in their eyes and of course you can also see the battered boats, paddles, and knuckles that show how committed this crew is to the Green Race.
