Everybody Beaters
While spending the semester in Pucón Chile with the Patagonia Study Abroad program we filled hard drives with quality footage of big waterfalls and clean lines. Along with all the amazing footage, we also captured some less than clean lines by the PSA team as well as the many guests that came and stayed at our home base, Pucón Kayak Hostel. These sad displays of kayaking skill are commonly referred to as beatering. Beatering is something that nobody is proud of, but EVERYONE enjoys watching, especially if someone goes « full beater » and swims. So I have compiled the best beater moments I caught on camera during my stay in Chile and made this edit set to the most beater kayak song i could find, Katy Perry’s Roar.
