First Descent Rio Putamayo, Big Water Deep in the Colombian Jungle

This April 2015, Jules Domine, Aniol Serrasolses, Morgan Arnaud and Sandy McEwan made a trip to the Putumayo region, in southern Colombia, which is known to be full of rivers… For the first past, they decided to settle base in the town of Mocoa, strategically located near easy access rivers. Here is a short movie of the Rio Villalobos and Rio Caqueta we ran during the first few days ! Nice surf waves, but also BIG whitewater ! Rain was abundant which made for an excellent preparation for our next expedition : the first descent of the Rio Putumayo !
