Alvaro’s Kayak Fest in Brazil (Teaser)
Teaser of a River festival taking place in Brazil this coming August on the Itajaí-Açú River. The name of the river comes from the ancient natives who inhabited the region. It means Great River Full of Stones, in the Tupi language.
It is a high volume water river with several class III and IV sessions. During the raining season, it becomes a big volume river, with class IV and V rapids with a lot of siphons. In August, the second edition of the Kayak Fest takes place that will bring together several kayakers from all over the country.
