Beater on Zambezi’s Rapid #11 (#9 Carnage for All 2018)
Watch Spanish paddler, Fernando Ayuso Palacios, getting properly beat on rapid #11 on the Zambezi river after surfing the wave at tubing level.
That wave is a beauty. A fatal beauty to be exact, who is almost impossible to resist to… Problem is, the wave’s shape is made in a such way that it almost goes uphill so to speak. It is really difficult to stay on the green part, and at some stage you know you gonna be swallowed by the (hungry) munchy hole next to it. And this is what happens to Fernando in this segment.
