Evoluciones Colombianas Part 2 : Bajando el Rio Suarez
The second part of a two month trip in Colombia. The team changed, some friends came and we decided to have a look on the Rio Suarez, near San Gil in the Santander Region. The Rio Suarez travels 172 kilometers between Fúquene lake, near Bogota, and the confluence with the Rio Chicamocha. This river offer kilometers of class IV to V rapids!! The Upper Rio Suarez is a two days run, cl. IV-V, volume. The second day the water rise up on the night and put some hundreds cubics more on the river. The take out of the Upper Part is also the put in of run known as one of the most difficult rafting commercial section of South America.
