God Help Me, Second Descent

The second descent of « God Help Me » by Hunt Jennings. This drop on Wolf Creek was first d’d by Pat Keller four years ago, and remained untouched since. A rowdy entrance, into an undefined lip, reconnection on an unpredictable narrow shelf, and free fall into an extremely narrow landing zone, makes this drop very serious. With the exception of the eddy on the left, it goes immediately off of the next 20/30 footer, after which stopping is a must. This is my most significant accomplishment in kayaking, not only because of the seriousness of the drop, but because of the mental preparation and studying it took to piece together. Thanks to Pat Keller for much advice and encouragement. My safety crew was very solid (Ben, Pierce, Spencer, and Danny). Very thankful that it went well, and to be here ready for another adventure. Dream Awake.
