Green River Sanctuary, a First Timer Down the Green
I had the pleasure of showing one of my good friends a special place in North Carolina. The Green River is a place that my minds drifts to frequently, and I love showing it to new people. This video is a attempt of capturing the emotions and feelings that Stephanie felt as she paddled the narrows for her first time. And also tries to capture some of the cultural aspects of the Green, both good and bad. She had made multiple runs on rivers like the Tellico, Cheoah, Tallulah, and others in preparation for the Green. And while no paddler has clean lines every time, Stephanie styled most of the Green Light lines. There is so much excitement in seeing someone go to a challenging river and have a successful day! The stoke is contagious, pass it on!
