High Water North Fork Payette @5500cfs
I am finding my limits, I am no longer willing to push myself in water as dangerous as the North Fork at these levels. Breathing heavily and taking beatdowns can be fatal. 5500cfs is 3x bigger than I had ever seen it before, and quickly I found myself lost in-between massive waves, trying to navigate mile long rapids. Through the voice of reason, I’ll step back, slowly taking the steps to put together what I call one of the best whitewater rivers.
