Kayaker rescued from the Wellbruke Rapids (Oetz river, Austria)
A GoPro video of a kayaker being rescued from the middle of the Wellbrucke Rapids in Oetz, Austria.
We were kayaking through the section when he was pushed offline at the top of the final rapid. He flipped and had to swim from his kayak which was washed downstream and wedged into the bottom of the rapid. Luckily he was able to swim to a small rock in the middle of the river where he waited in 5 degree water to get roped out.
