Lower Tsitsa Gorge, A Tranksei Pilgrimage (South Africa)
The Lower Tsitsa Gorge is famous among South African kayakers but it has only been descended twice. Why? Well, it lies in a remote corner of the country , where class V rapids and waterfalls are boxed between immense cliffs, water levels need to be just right. Once in the only way out is to paddle 56km down one of South Africa’s last untouched places.
