Malabar River Festival, July 19-22nd 2018, Kerala (India)

The MRF team is stoked to announce that they are all set to host of the 6th edition of the Malabar River Festival, in the unrivaled state of Kerala, India, July 19th-22nd!

With over $20,000 to be won in cash prizes, the Malabar River Festival is stepping up to become one of the biggest cash purse ever for a paddling event worldwide!

This year’s International Race Series will gather some of the world’s best athletes and reveal a brand new format never tried before, to be unveiled soon. The race will also feature the usual suspects – The Extreme Race, Boater Cross, and Giant Slalom.

To top it off, you can look forward to seeing the MRF’s local initiatives. The Malabar Fest is proud to be part of a very ambitious development program involving the entire Asian continent, with the goal to collaborate with the International Canoe Federation (ICF).

The Festival has been steadily building on its last five successful editions, growing closer to its goals of becoming Asia’s leading Paddlesport Festival, attracting the best paddling communities in Asia, as well as becoming a major event on the international kayaking calendar.
