Lettmann, the all paddlesports German manufacturer will present 4 new products at the 2014 edition of PADDLEexpo.

Lettmann goes XL – the Granate-Family gets completed

Since the new Lettmann-Creek-boat “Granate” has been done, the masses guttered for a bigger version – and we build it! The Granate XL was showen for the first time January 2014, on the exhibition “Boot” in Duesseldorf. Although the Granate XL has a ton of volume, the boat can be paddled as sportive as its smaller brothers. Tall and heavy paddlers will get safety reserves for steep and big water. But not only the volume rises, also the cockpit-size increases to XL. Enough space will be offered for long legs and large feed.

Speed – new generation wing-race-paddle

The Lettmann Speed is our all new paddle for flatwater-racing. The completely new shape offers more power, although we reduced the size of the blades. The new performance and the smooth pressure make the speed also interesting for touring- and marathon-kayakers. The speed is made of full-carbon-prepreg and has a weight of round about 750 grams. It will be available in six different blade-sizes (XS, S, M/L. L/M, L, XL), also the shaft will be available in different grades of stiffness.

Lettmann-Star Light – the lightweight touring kayak made in Germany

The Lettmann Star Light is our new compact and lightweight touring kayaks. Fitted with a big stern-hatch and an optional day-hatch in the front, the Starlight is prepared for day- and multiday-trips on lakes and big or small rivers.

Blade III – The empire strikes back

The third generation of our Blade, one of the most popular polo-competition-kayaks, will be introduced in 2015. The deck-design was completely changed for more performance and durability, also the stern and the bow got less volume for more aggression – it makes the blade carve under your enemy with the greatest of ease. One more new feature of the Blade is a tray in front of the cockpit to place the ball during the match – but no longer than five seconds! The deckdesign also gives more strength and stiffness. The new Blade III will be available in four sizes (XS, S, M, L) and three materials (diolen-glass, carbon/aramid and vaccum-carbon/aramid)

Blade PE – Performance meets Polyethylen

Our popular Blade Polyethylene, introduced in 2012, will be completely renewed for the season 2015. While we did not change the hull of the kayak, we modified the deck-design for a maximum of performance and durability.
