The Odachi [OH-DA-CHEE] down river/creek race paddle from Werner Paddles is fitting of its name. The long sword used by the samurai while on horseback, an Odachi was a specialized tool that was difficult to build and meet the high standards needed for battle. This new paddle is not a lightweight version of our river runners, but designed from the ground up for race and with painstaking efforts, brings our Bomber reliability to those pulling on a race jersey.

– Increased shaft to blade offset to allow for a longer catch and more vertical position though the power phase of the stoke.

– Longer blade length with a slightly scooped tip to give more leverage and power.

– Pronounced dihedral for more blade stability down the course.
