OMF Amabassador: Matt Dumoulin

Leading up to the 2016 edition of the OutdoorMix Festival for which Kayak Session is the media partner, we will bring info, share stories and introduce those that will make the OutdoorMix festival what it is: One of Europe’s biggest outdoor festival and a major Kayaking event in the whitewater scene. Today we talk with Jackson Kayak Europe team manager, OMF ambassador and top paddler, Matt Dumoulin.

What is the Outdoormix Festival for you?
The outdoor sports lifestyle is also very important for me and it’s a lot about friendship and exchange with other sports, which is very important in the OMF concept and schedule. Lot of opportunities to chill and party, with all kind of outdoor lovers. The Hautes Alpes is a high place of the outdoor community and this location makes the event special.

What do you think about the Kayak part in the festival ?
I like it all in kayaking, and i get to do it all at the outdoor mix festival! We have all kind of racing format and a freestyle race. I love that we get on the water every day for a different kayak experience. The white water is amazing there and we get to paddle rivers and rapids of all kind!

Are you happy to be one of our ambassadors ? What does it mean for you ?
Not really happy. I wish i was the organizer!! You have to be a badass to have such an idea 😉

What can you wish to the festival ?
Long life, and i hope it grows a lot to bring the stoke to more and more people.

What can we whish for you in your athlete life ?
Take part of the OMF for the next 100 years?
