Leading up to the 2016 edition of the OutdoorMix Festival for which Kayak Session is the media partner, we will bring info, share stories and introduce those that will make the OutdoorMix festival what it is: One of Europe’s biggest outdoor festival and a major Kayaking event in the whitewater scene. Today we talk with C1 Legend Lukas Cervinka from Czech republic, the Freestyle Ambassador for the 2016 OutdoorMix.

What is the Outdoormix Festival for you?
I know it as a huge event full of great people, unique atmosphere with the best European athletes in so many amazing freestyle disciplines, all situated in breathtaking place in the French Alps, and im not talking about the massive parties and music nights…

What do you think about the Kayak part in the festival ?
Its on a quite good level actually, with great riders, nice playspot and I am happy thatcan see kayak freestyle here as one of the freestyle sports to show people, how amazing sport this is.

Are you happy to be one of our ambassadors ? What does it mean for you ?
Sure I am For me it means an opportunity to spread freestyle kayaking to the general public and I am very proud that I can be a part of this amazing event and cooperate with such a great people.

What can you wish to the Outdoormix?
Well to get more and more first class athletes, more and more sponsorships, the best athlet´s performances, no injuries and hopefully sunshine weather with billion visitors on the shores

What can we wish for you in your athlete life ?
Oh, I guess most important is staying without any injuries,some more traveling all around the globe to find another kayaking possibilities and maybe more time for training would be also perfect.
