Outdoor Mix Festival, Hautes Alpes, France – May 8-11th, 2014

Kayak Session is proud to announce and support as media partner the second edition of the Outdoormix Festival, taking place from May 8^th to 11^th in the Briançon area (Hautes Alpes, France).

This lil’ bomb event, 1st stage of the AWP World Cup of Extreme Racing, half way between Ekstremsportveko and Mountain Games, has quickly made a buzz in the outdoor scene, particularly in the kayak world with incredible water levels last year (which should be very similar this year given the mad snow pack in the southern alps).

The 2014 kayak program is made up of four races, plus one optional freestyle competition: a giant slalom on the Durance River Canyon, a sprint on the Gyronde River, a boater cross on the slalom course, and the long race on the infamous Guil River.

The Outdoormix combines athletic and grassroots experiences, taking the competitive journey close to your perfect riding days: excellent ride conditions, crazy outdoor party zones, and a very friendly atmosphere made by the social exchange with the eight other sports communities also competing and moving all together throughout the four days.

So, if you missed your chance for the WWGP, don’t miss this one, part of the AWP series and open to any strong paddler. Just send your video, or any proof of your kayaking ability to the organization, or ask a godfather paddler who knows you well to vouch for your skills (list available on the website).
