Save the Waitaha River – Aoraki/Mt Cook of Rivers (NZ)

The Waitaha River on the West coast of the South Island of NEw Zealand is the pinnacle of whitewater kayaking in New Zealand.

A hydro power scheme has been proposed for the river and is now in the process of getting permission.
