Lex, or more commonly known as the Paddlin' Dutchman, shows us his experience with this comical and creative entry to the Short Film Awards, enjoy! "A little back story about the video; At the start of the year I couldn't paddle for a long time. During that time I was still finding paddling gear all around the house, constantly reminding me how much I missed paddling. It got so bad I joked about my gear following me around, trying to send me a message. That gave me the idea to make this short horror skit about a haunted paddle which would not be put aside!!"

My goal was to elevate the viewers experience by accurately depicting the river and all its features to help aspiring boaters progress in their love of white water kayaking."
