Tyler Pastorok 2015 Highlights Reel
2015 was my first year in a creek boat and has been the best year of my life so far. Up until this past January, I had always been a weekend/warm weather/class 3 warrior, but I told myself that this would be the year that I broke into the creeking scene. Not knowing the first thing about river progression, I set my end goal at Raymondskill Creek and began nagging people on PA Creekers. Thanks to Brian Swofford, however, I met my goal within a month and realized just how far I could push myself in a year. With the help of Bucky and the rest of Murk Steep, I was able to take my kayaking skills far beyond where I thought I’d be at this time, with the bonus of keeping the swim count at 0 (knock on wood). I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures 2016 brings me as I continue to push my kayaking and filmmaking to the next level, and expand my adventure-sport horizons.
